North Carolina Post-License Requirements

Follow these three critical steps to complete your post-licensing education and remove your provisional license status.

Complete Your Post-
License Education

This complete package includes all 90 hours of post-licensing required for removal of the provisional license status.

18-Month Completion Window

All three courses must be completed within 18 months of initial licensure to retain eligibility.

Pass Your Final Exams
 

Per NCREC regulations, you must pass all three final proctored exams with a minimum score of 75% within 180 days of package purchase.

180-Day Purchase Rule

NCREC requires students to complete post-licensing courses within 180 days of purchase.

Report Your Credit Hours
 

Your real estate school will electronically report your completion of each post-licensing course to the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.
